He actually couldn't remember. Though after finally gaining the courage to ask Zechariah out to a movie, he had this weird burning sensation in his gut that almost positively seemed as if it were going to be a rejection. He was more so scared, scared that he would let himself like this person and thus be hurt if this person didn't have the same sort of enthusiasm about this. Not to mention, he was horridly shy. It took him about a month of attempts to finally just blurt it out; but he was pleasantly surprised when the other say "okay, sure." But what if he forgets the location, or forgets that Yusuf even exists?
For now, he simply paced back and forth in front of the theater, doing his best to not look too out of place as he awaited the arrival of his date. Habitually, he began gnawing at his fingernails in a slight nervous manner, eyes shifting back and forth through the crowd.

Zechariah didn't forget something so important as an outing with friends. What sort of impression would it be if he simply stood up someone who was nice enough to ask him out to see a movie? No, he was simply a little late... which was almost just as bad. He wanted so much for the Yusuf kid to like him and when he was finally asked to hang out (because Zechariah was completely and totally naive to it being a "date"), his chest swelled with glee. He was so proud that he had managed to stay so cool during it too, when in reality it felt like his knees were going to give out much like they were now. Zechariah wasn't much of an athlete and he was now running full speed down the street to make it to the theater in time, feeling like such an idiot for spending so much time making sure his hair looked okay. It was surely getting messed up now with the wind ripping through it.
As soon as the theater came into view, he slowed down to a jog and breathed heavily, suddenly choking on air when he caught sight of Yusuf pacing back and forth in what Zechariah mistook as annoyance. Oh no, he knew he was a little late but was five minutes really that bad? Did he get the times wrong? Zechariah stopped a little ways to hide behind a pillar as he straightened himself up, brushing back his hair and fixing his clothes not to look so messy. Then with a clearing of the throat, he tried to push down and nervousness and head over to his friend-type-person, giving a small wave and smile with cheeks still flushed from running. "S-sorry I'm late," he stuttered and quickly coughed while cursing his nerves. "I hope you weren't waiting long?"
Be cool, damnit!

There was this belief in his mind that he always thought that Zechariah would be the early type - therefore he himself came a bit early. How wrong he was. There was a slight sigh, a hand scratching at the back of his skull before his head lifted slightly enough to spot his 'date' coming. Oh, so he hadn't forgotten! Or maybe this just meant he wasn't an early person. Or maybe this just meant that Yusuf was a butt for assuming. Sounds about right. Instantly however, he noticed the boy was rather flushed and his eyes scanned his posture and his breaths.
"You didn't have to run, I wouldn't have left." there was a bright smile given, the elder boy retrieving some money from his wallet and moving to the nearby vending machine. He would then purchase two bottles of soda, giving one to his 'friend person'. "Here, drink it. It should help a bit. I'd have purchased you bottled water, but, haha, what sort of guy would I be?" he teased, taking a swig from his own bottle before nodding in the direction to the booths. He lead the way, and the two would stand there for a bit, before being greeted by a woman.
Can I help you? she spoke, staring them over.
"Two Tickets for..." he paused, glancing back at Zeke. "What movie do you want to see? Your pick, my treat." cue charming smirk.

"Ah.." His voice just about died in his throat. Was it that obvious he'd run all this way? Zechariah crossed his arms over his chest almost protectively in case Yusuf's observant eyes saw anything else that would give the other away, then followed the boy toward a vending machine where an ice cold drink was shoved into his hands. "U-um, thank you..." he choked out, taking a small sip in vain hope that the drink would calm his nerves.
He played around with the bottle cap in his hand as he walked side by side with Yusuf to the ticket kioske and began to dig his pockets for his wallet when Yusuf turned back to inform him that he didn't have to pay. Zechariah looked up at the movies playing, scrunching his nose up at the choices. Romance, action, horror... all three weren't going to help his jittery nerves any. "How 'bout the scary one?" Then he'd have an excuse to be nervous, at least. At the last second he added, "A-and if you buy the tickets, it's only fair I buy the snacks, right?" This stuttering thing was totally ruining his attempt at acting cool.
